First Post!

FIRST POST! YAY!
We've been working really hard and have been so excited to FINALLY do some blog posts! We thought nothing would be more fitting than to start with what Flaunt your Flaws means to us.

What FYF means to us: FyF means fun, hard work, and self acceptance all rolled into one. While doing this it is scary to actually display the things we like to show and don’t like to show for public viewing. As girls, admitting insecurities seems to make us feel vulnerable and weak. It’s so much easier to keep it to ourselves like a big secret.Which makes us realize how important FyF really is... because it shouldn't be that complicated to say our "flaws" to each other when we all have them. It is so much easier to list the things we consider our flaws than the things we like about ourselves and it’s important to us to find a balance of being proud of what you love and accepting of what you don't. We think it’s important for all girls to be able to say what the love and what they don't without guilt or doubt. Most insecurities are self inflicted and accepting them in a comfortable place is crucial because we need a place we can do that as girls and put aside the bullshit. Flaunt your Flaws means accepting individuality, being confident & proud in yourself, and most importantly supporting the other girls doing the same around you. On top of all the deep stuff it is a place for fun, to feel good, a blog that makes you comfortable, with all the girly stuff we love. We are not a deep or serious people, so it is more complicated than you think to even say  this out loud! (It won’t always be this serious.)

We are so excited to get to know all of you! Read our about us and if you have time steal our layout, fill it our and send it to us!
